The port of Aqaba is the only Jordan port, handling mostly containers and vehicles. Today the representatives of both ports signed a Memorandum of understanding between Koper and Aqaba ports, which will upgrade the current business ties between the two countries. They mostly include live stock, containers (some 3.000 TEU/year) and some RO-RO cargo, though there is still potential agreed members of Jordan logistic sector.
