At its 32nd session, of the 15th June 2009, the Supervisory Board of Luka Koper d.d. appointed Gregor Veselko as a president of the Luka Koper Management Board, effective as of 16th June 2009. The Supervisory Board has previously relieved from their duty Mr. Robert Časar and Mr. Aldo Babič. The Management Board is now composed of president Gregor Veselko, PhD, member Marjan Babič, MSc and member Boris Marzi, Msc.
 
Gregor Veselko was born on 29th November 1974 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. Two years following the graduation from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, he completed specialist studies in management, and in 2001 took a master’s degree in transport and maritime management at the Institute of Transport and Maritime Management in Antwerp. Two years later Veselko also gained an MSc at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, and in 2006 was awarded a doctorate in the field of transport logistics and strategic supply chain management at the Faculty of Maritime Studies and Transport in Portorož, Slovenia.
In October 1999 Gregor Veselko gained employment as an independent adviser at Intereuropa d.d., and continued his career in the company as a maritime trade manager, regional manager and specialist-expert, prior to his appointment to the Management Board as Executive Director in March 2006.
