During the Spanish presidency of EU Spanish Embassy in Slovenia organized a visit to Port of Koper for all EU ambassadors, representing EU members in Slovenia.
Spanish ambassador H.E. Anunciada Fernandez de Cordova organized a trip to Slovenian coast during which they visited Luka Koper. Mr. Gregor Veselko, the president of the management board welcomed distinguished guests, many of them already familiar with our port. Veselko presented our cooperation with 3 (soon to be 4) North Adriatic ports within NAPA and our future plans for port development.
In a lively discussion questions about Slovenian railway infrastructure and its modernization were raised, though the guests were also interested in important role Koper port has for other Central European countries.
