This year the award was also given to the Management Board’s President Dragomir Matić because of excellent business performance and a number of records broken by Luka Koper last year. The Management Board’s President commented this saying:
“I was just an intermediary because somebody had to get on that stage. Actually, this is an award for all the employees of Luka Koper, we achieved these results together, as a team. I would like to thank my colleagues in the Management Board for their support, thanks to my closest team for their effort, commitment and perseverance, and of course thanks to all the co-workers for believing in this company and building its story of success day after day with your loyalty and values.”
The Slovenian Prime Minister Miro Cerar also attended the event and in addressing the government’s achievements and future plans among others referred to the construction of the second track between Koper and Divača. The guest of the round table with the award winners was Zdravko Počivalšek , the Minister of Economic Development and Technology.
