The South Korean shipowner HMM has established in late summer a new connection with Koper with connecting transhipment in Piraeus, from where HMM offers direct services with Asian and Indian ports (FIM: Far East – India – Mediterranean). The service is particularly interesting because it offers also relatively short transit times from/to Indian ports, for example Nhava Sheva and Mundra. HMM has a history of cooperation with Luka Koper, as it was part of the alliance of four carriers operating between Koper and Asia during 2010 – 2012. More info on FIM service click.
